1924 Schoenhut Sulivan Wood Segmented Felix Comic Strip Toy Doll. This toy is approximately 8 1/2 inches tall and is marked on the bottom of the right foot. It has more than likely had some work done on the right side of the face, on the cheek. The wood is rough there. The ears have more than likely been repainted. The black on the head has probably been repainted at some point, but the white paint looks original. The face is a bit dull. It has minor chipping on the face and some crazing across the front of his mouth. The inside of the leather ears have some crazing and there is a small crack on the outside of the left ear. Otherwise, the ears look good. I’m not sure if the body has been repainted, but if it has, they did a good job. He has been restrung, so the joints do pose. The left leg is a bit loose, but does still pose. Some of the segments on the tail are a bit stiff and stick together. Otherwise, the tail is tight and holds well.There are a couple of chips here and there on the black, but it still looks really good. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
