1936 ZENITH MODEL 5-s-29 TOMBSTONE STYLE RADIO-- New Caps. Dial lens is brilliant in color as seen in picture.
Original cloth , also has tube shields. These are needed to cut out inference.
Most 5-S-29 radios have these missing. Very hard to find correct style. knobs are correct as well.
The wax and metal can caps have been replaced. radio sound good and does pick op many AM stations,
short wave needs super long antenna and the ground wire grounded on a water pipe or a stake in the ground.
Wood cabinet does have a few scuffs here and there . I am not a cabinet restorer so I will leave that up to someone qualified.
