1950s character watch store display Mickey Mouse Hopalong Cassidy Snow White

believed to be the only example of this display known ! Motorized intricate merry go round carousel store display was designed to hold watches with Mickey Mouse,Cinderella, Hopalong Cassidy, and Snow White magic mirror. These watches are shown on the illustrated instruction sheet.
Due to the extremely fragile nature of the flaps on the display, all have been supported on the reverse with archival book tape to keep them from splitting at the fold, the name flaps on the canopy were all separated and had to be reattached with the same archival tape--NONE OF THIS IS VISIBLE WHEN DISPLAYED and was done to preserve the condition and integrity of this great display. Aside from the archival tape repairs this display is in excellent to near mint condition. Only some discoloration on the undersides of the floor and canopy are defects worth mentioning. NOTE--one of the poles has the wooden ball missing.
If you are a serious watch collector, you probably already have the watches. Imagine what this would look like filled and rotating ! Can become a cornerstone display in even an advanced collection.
