ANTIQUE BRONZE STAR BOSTON GIMBALED MARINE COMPASS - GULF OF MEXICO SALVAGE

Description

What we have here is an antique 4" gimbaled marine compass. It was made by Star, Boston U.S.A. It is made of bronze and has an 8 screw bezel. It is a salvage piece from the Gulf of Mexico. The original wood box is long gone. The compass works and is a nifty display item due to its clean condition and surface patina. It could be installed in a replacement box and put back in service.
