Description

Antique Chinese Ancestor Portrait Painting Scroll. Approximately 29" X 66" total size. Discoloration, creases (including a hard crease all the way across the bottom area), tears here and there (but primarily on the top and bottom). Old tape repairs at one end. Looks like very thin strips of silk on the edges of the paper. Splotchiness, especially on the purple robe - perhaps from rolling/unrolling? Plus other wear consistent with age/use.
