    Description

Wonderful, antique pavilion and landscape silk painting, attributed to Li Songlian, probably Qing dynasty or earlier, China.
A lovely, fine, Chinese landscape painting attributed to the Famous Song Dynasty painter: Li Songnian.
It seems, that the painting was restored and re-mounted several times.
The silk fabric has a fine underlayer of Gesso, to keep
the pigments on the thin, delicate fabric.
It is well-executed, fine details of the pavilion, people and the two boats. One boat is anchored at the point of " entrance" to the painting.
The other is far under the horizon.
The painting is well balanced, with good proportions.
There are quite a few collectors seals next to the artist's signature, which takes a significant part of the space of the painting.
The painting is kept in its old frame, from the 1950s or 60s.
Size: net painting 30x33 cm, with mounting 42x52
