Bendix 0526C Green Cataline Radio Recapped Working DAMAGED!

Description

This was the best radio in my collection. I recapped it, cleaned and polished it and listened to it for about an hour after I got it all together. Then, I proudly displayed it on the top glass shelf on my wall. Minutes later, after posting it on my radio group, the was an horrendous cash. My top self had fallen into the shelf under it and so on so on. Many radios did not fair as well as this one. It has a crack in the bottom (it did not break completely off), there is damage to almost every thread hole and to some of the through holes and as beautiful as the top looks, it also has some damage to the right side bottom edge (see pic, piece has been glued back in) you can't see it when it's together, and the dial cord broke. Still a beautiful shelf piece and a quick fix of the cord will make it functional again. Still a beautiful peice. Good Luck!
