GENERAL ELECTRIC MODEL L-622 JEWELRY BOX CATALIN RADIO. Uniquely designed radio, the case is made of a reddish amber translucent Catalin with swirls of brown and black marbling throughout.
My radio has a perfect cabinet free of any cracks, chips or burn marks. The cabinet has been professionally polished and now has a beautiful lustre (making the radio very hard to photograph without reflections) and importantly there is no damage at all around the hinges or bracket which holds the top open. Comes with the original yellow Catalin knobs, perfect metal "Volume" & "Tuning" surrounds and a lovely speaker cloth, believed to be original to the radio also. Even the cardboard base is original with the GE factory tube schematic printed on to it.
Radio measures 9" wide, 5.5" high & 5" deep and is being sold as "non-working" even though the power cord is still attached.
