Central bank of Ireland only
release sets of eight coins 3 times.  1st was in 1928, 2nd in 1940, the 3rd and last of these in 1966.
This is a beautiful Set of 1928 coins from the silver half crown to the copper farthing, a very nice set of  1st released coins
.   The animals depicted on the coins between 1928 and 1969 were very meaningful to the day to life in Ireland and along with the Celtic harp were the chosen  designs for there coins! Photos to see !
