    Description

    Description
This fabulous Chinese Ancestral Portrait painting is richly colored and highly detailed. The gentleman is garbed in sumptuous clothing, and a long strand of beads which indicate that he was most likely some type of dignitary or official. The shape and style of his hat is typical of the late Qing period (1644-1912).
The painting has been executed on heavy paper. It is mounted in a simple, glossy dark wood frame that's approximately one inch wide, and one inch deep. At just under 2 feet tall, this portrait is considerably smaller than most of it's genre, making it perfect for display in modern American homes.
    Dimensions
    Height: 23.5
    Width: 15
    Depth: 1
    Condition
In excellent condition with exception of the paper backing to the frame. The paper has deteriorated and would benefit from being replaced. Please note that a  dark-colored streak at the lower right corner of the frame is a natural feature of the wood, not a defect.
