Popeye Vintage Metal Figure/ Statue

Vintage Popeye Metal Statue/ Figure. I was told it was a vintage Car Hood Ornament.
Placed on a nice wood base of displaying. About 7 1/2 inches tall.
Heavy piece. I purchased it from England and have never seen another for sale.
Not sure about the making of the figure , perhaps bronze, very nice detail.
Great piece that is ready for display in any collection.
