Vintage Rare and Unusual 1920s Running Puss In Boots Car mascot.
This is a great rarity, manufactured by the Austrian company Ditmar in c.1920. Ditmar was a well-known producer of children's toys and radiator mascots of the period. One of the finest bronzes. Fantastic detail and a wonderful subject.
Absolutely first class totally original condition, with fantastic definition and detail. Absolutely no restoration or problems whatsoever.
Mascot is signed “Ditmar” and Pat # 37042 on the base.
Nothing but 100% authentic art deco.
Beautiful patina to this piece, a great eye catching piece to any collection.
I haven’t seen another on eBay in over 8 years. Could be one of the last survivors as pieces as such were limited produced and everyone in possession of one choose to not part with it.
This mascot hasn't been up for sale in years. Price reflects its rarity.
This is a great investment opportunity as pieces such as this one, will only increase in price over time.
