An original Instructional Course Handbook manual for the Avro Lancaster.
This handbook along with the Flight engineer’s notes would have been included along with every aircraft supplied by the factory, in addition to these being used by the pilot or flight engineer respectively.
This specific example is named to R.E Johnson. No research has been done, so I will leave that up to you to do.
I can only imagine what ops/tours this handbook went on over Germany and main land Europe.
Besides being used by the British and Canadians of the Royal Air Force and Royal Canadian Air Force, others used it including the RNZAF and RAAF
Overall good condition and a rare survivor.
As this is a duplicate in my collection I figured I would pass it along to someone else.
Some 100 or so pages, lots of text, some nice pullouts as well.
Perfect for anyone who happens to have a Lancaster sitting in their backyard, WW2 aviation enthusiast, or someone who just loves aircraft manuals.
