    This foam is far superior to school foam board. Real Depron is water proof /Depron has no paper sides weighing it down or buckling when bent just 5 degrees(like foam board does... ). The 3mm Depron weights just 11.6g per sq. ft.!!!!  Where regular foam board is like a brick at 27g per sq.ft!!! Depron sands /shapes under pressure and glues exceptionally well!!
