Sterling Silver Salt & Pepper Shakers Quaker Hurricane Newport by Gorham 925

Description

Presented for your consideration a beautiful pair of vintage weighted sterling and etched glass salt and pepper shakers.  They are marked on the bottom Quaker "Hurricane" 703 Weighted, Tradmark - Reg. Newport Sterling.  Newport was a trademark that Gorham used in the mid 20th century.
They feature a weighted sterling base and etched or engraved fern leaves on the glass tops.
They measure approximately 2 1/2" tall.
Excellent vintage condition. Expect some stubborn tarnish.  No dents or dings that I can find.  Cork is still in tact.  No cracks or chips to the glass.

Free returns will be accepted only if we sent you the wrong item.
Otherwise the buyer is to pay return shipping.  You will be refunded the bid amount less return shipping cost.  Returned items must be packaged to insure a safe delivery. We will not issue a refund for items damaged or lost during transit.  A refund on returns will only be processed on items received in the original condition that they were shipped.
