VINTAGE 1936 RCA MODEL 4T RESTORED / REFINISHED and WORKING. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Enjoy a small piece of history with this beautifully restored RCA Model 4T Beehive Radio.
This unit have been recapped, and all out of tolerance resistors have been replaced.
Cabinet was refinished and brought to nearly original appearance. The veneer is original as I wanted to keep this as authentic as possible. One thing you may or may not notice is that the front corners have slight wear but not too bad for an 85 year old beauty.
This cabinet is not top coated with Polyurethane. It is hand rubbed with a mix of stain and polyurethane to give it a MATTE appearance. This is close to how it looked back in it's heyday as I can get it.
Dial scale has been replaced.
Reception is outstanding but you will need an outdoor antenna (either a Rod type or an L type) to use (at least a pair of rabbit ears). If you live in a mobile home with lots of metal around you then you will definitely need an outdoor antenna.
