Vintage 1940s D2610 Truetone Radio Western Auto Supply Works!!

Really nice 1940s Western Auto Supply Truetone Stratoscope D2610 Bakelite radio in excellent condition. The Bakelite case is excellent, no chips or cracks, one small scratch on top (see photo). The Stratoscope is the metal plate on the back that acts as the antenna. You can add another antenna to the clip on the back if you want. The dials are on/off/volume and tuner. Works great! The tuner dial has a quick response and brings in AM stations nice and clear.
Has original dial cover that has gotten a bit yellow over the years but still clear. The cover and dial plate are a bit “warped” but not damaged but clean and clear. Doesn’t take away from overall appearance and function. I tried to show this in the photos.
It does have a replacement, vintage style plug.
