Vintage Antique BUTT WELDER "EISLER ELECTRIC CORP" Radio Tube Neon Sign

Eisler Electrical was in Business 1885-1988. There is a lot of biographical sketches of his company but I could not find reference to specific tools. Several years ago when I bought this I ran across an article that said Eisler started out working for the Edisons. I could not find it again. I have no idea if it works  or not. I did not have the courage to plug it in. If unusual is your game this is for you.
The base is 16" x 11 1/2" and it is 13" high.
