All in the ORIGINAL FRAME at the time of purchase and still has the sealed dust cover on the back with the ORIGINAL MULTI - MATTE that is the ULTIMATE!I assume by the FRAME at the time would be POST 1940 ...however the ART WORK COULD BE EARLIER ..... said to have been purchased from the Marshall Field's Art Department in Chicago years ago. Last 2 pics are of the matching MAN ... that came with this artwork. NOTE also Chinese Characters ..... by each ear....

is this remarkable--
VINTAGE PAINTING ON SILK of a CHINESE ELDER
(Lady) in the finest of detail. Mounted with very expensive multi matting and in an elegant gold leafed speckled frame. I was told that most of the High Quality Art was purchased from
Marshall Field's Antique & Art Department
back years ago. (I assumed, Chicago and I do remember visiting that store ..if was fabulous!) Right at
13" x 14"
(Frame Size) and the Silk Painting visible is
9" x 10"
. It is
STILL SEALED
on the back and I was so tempted to take apart to see if it is signed or ID'd. I didn't ... obviously.
I wanted to keep it as ORIGINAL as possible.
Appears to be GLASS and hope it is NOT for shipping! :-) (NO Chips or Scratches, PERFECT!)
