Vintage 1960's Era Dark Green BSA Explorer or Leadership Corps Short Sleeve Shirt Cherokee NC Council. This is a men's large with a 15-151/2" Neck. Only three patches have been sewn on in the life of this uniform. A position patch has been removed from the left sleeve, the US Flag & twill council patch remain on the shirt. No patch was ever sewn above the right breast pocket. Shirt shows very little wear....obviously limited use. There are no holes, tears or damages, and all buttons are accounted for. The branding label sewed into the collar has disintegrated over the past 50 years. From the "fresh" green appearance of the fabric, I would guess that the shirt was dry cleaned rather than being washed in a machine. JUST IN TIME FOR SUMMER CAMP!
