Sterling Silver 925 Besamim Havdalah Spice Filigree Box.
Ca 1930 made in Israel
A handcrafted sterling silver 925 spice besamim box with round form body
and beautifully decorated with filigree ornaments.
Filigree is a delicate kind of jewelry metalwork made with twisted threads usually of gold and silver or stitching of the same curving motifs.
The Box has been hand crafted  and designed under inspiration of the famous works created in Bezalel school of art in Palestine during the early 20th century
Silver Filigree items are beautiful to see- fine silver wires are interwoven to create beautiful jewelry.
A magnificent  Jewish Sabbath item.

It is in a great condition,is perfect and well-preserved with minimal evidence of use and wear.
This piece has not been polished  just delicate cleaned up in order to demonstrate its original vintage integrity.
I didn't want to remove beautiful patina by doing so.
I only use photos of the actual item.
Any dark spots on item are only shadows while taking pictures.
It really looks more beautiful in real life, than on pictures.
