Vintage Lithographed Tin with Flossie Fisher Funnies Design, 4 ¼ inch diameter, 3 inches high excluding bail, unmarked, probably early 1900’s, probably American, small dent in lid, scratches and wear to the lithography overall, stains and minor rust to the bottom, slight bend to bail, the tin’s lid has a classical drawing of a woman wearing a feather and flowers in her elaborate hairdo, flowers are printed on the outside border, the body of the tin has a comical hunt scene done in silhouette on gold background, what appears to be a young boy with his hat flying runs, he is followed (chased?) by a rabbit who is pursued by a pack of hounds and hunters with guns and tools but some are on the ground and some are running or falling, Flossie Fisher Funnies by Helene and Vera Nyce appeared in Ladies Home Journal in the teens of 1900, tin probably came with candy inside and could be reused for other things.
