  • Condition: This is a antique radio that needs some work. It's from the early 1930's...it's an RCA 4TThe tuner dial lights up and the tubes light up. It has a pair of tubes toward the back, both RCA Cunningham Radiotron, one is IV the other 41. There's a 3d tube that I haven't removed and don't know the number, but the schematic pasted at the top right says it's a 6A7, and there's also what should be a 6B7 under a cover. Looks like the original speaker with numbers 4862-A printed on the back of the paper cone. The power cord needs replacement with erosion of the covering in spots, but it did work enough for me to plug it in and turn it on without sparks or fire.There's an RCA paper glued on the back bottom of the chassis, and also schematic top right inner cabinet. There is no back.The wood cabinet is in nice shape with only minor general wear. The cloth grill is ripped in the top quadrant. Off/on switch clicks and turns freely, as does the tuner knob. Sold as is, no returns.

    This is a antique radio that needs some work. It's from the early 1930's...it's an RCA 4T
    The tuner dial lights up and the tubes light up. It has a pair of tubes toward the back, both RCA Cunningham Radiotron, one is IV the other 41.
