Optics are generally clear but an internal lens is scratched
There is a crack in the sight glass
Box is good and the over-lid leather strap is unbroken
Set is missing instructions, electric cord and lamp and one of the original two aluminum drift sight plates
One adjustment knob is broken and the broken half is no longer present
Rubber eyepieces are present but deteriorating and stuck together
There is a stamped date of 1937 present inside the top lid
The original serial numbers on the scope and the sighting plate do not match - both have been scratched out and serial numbers matching the box have been scratched underneath
