    Antique compass serial number 115439, diameter 6 7/8".1880 s era item. Came from some ship that retired around 1940s in Maine. All Brass Liquid Filled Boat Ship Compass. Measurements of the box 10 x 10 x 7 inches. Weight of the compass ( without the box and wheel ) - 7 lb 15 oz.The wooden box is antique but probably not original for this compass. The compass is working condition.
